Offering 25 different health, justice and employability services to around 15,000 people each year requires a highly flexible, secure and intuitive case management system. Their established links with ICONI led them to just the right solution.

“ICONI had provided our legacy CRM system for well over a decade and the time had come to step up in terms of cyber security standards and functionality,” explains Tom Bennett, Start360’s Director of Corporate Services.

Founded in 1993, registered charity Start360 delivers person-centred support services to young people, families and vulnerable adults who are often disengaged from mainstream services and marginalised from their communities. Determined that Change Starts Here, 19 of their services are specifically tailored to support young people aged 16-25.

“ICONI’s Multi Programme Solution (MPS) has the flexibility to support different services, and the service users registered on them. Vitally, it also allows us to better record and report on outcomes so we can ably evidence the impact of our work across the large number of services we provide,” Tom adds.

Working closely with Start360’s leadership team, ICONI’s Business Analysis experts hosted a workshop to walk through the main stages of a participant’s support journey. Mapping this directly onto the ICONI platform meant it comprehensively reflected Start360 advisors’ operational processes, providing a unique matrix of support services and interventions.

With user notifications and workflow prompts, the system robustly helps advisors meet agreed service levels when supporting participants. It also gives leaders a central, real time view of all support and activity being provided across Start360.

“The workshop worked well to assess needs and contribute to our partnership approach,” adds Tom. “A group training session was also held with managers and admins of the platform.

“This was a much-needed upgrade to our existing solution and the increased security of the platform developed by Start360 and ICONI is reassuring. It enables our staff to quickly identify and provide the best priority interventions that our participants need at any point in time and allows greater functionality to host different measurement tools to record outcome data.”
